My sisters wedding is coming up next month in Chicago and I've been tasked with picking out all the decor stuff like fairy lights and table runners. I've got a cart full of like 20 things right now and it's around $250 but I need her to look at everything and actually pay for it herself since it's her budget lol.

I did a quick search and saw this thing called Share-a-Cart but the reviews seem mixed and I'm not sure if it works on the mobile app which is what she uses mostly. I also read about just making a public wish list but that seems like a total pain to move every item over manually. Is there a faster way to just send her my whole cart so she can check out on her own account?

Are you both on the US site? Most apps failed me, so just use a link generator. I tried a few, but Cart To Link actually worked across different regions for me.

Jumping in here because I just did this for my brothers housewarming and honestly, I was pretty satisfied with how easy it can be if you skip the manual stuff. I looked at a few options before settling on what worked:

  • Share-a-Cart: It works alright on desktop but yeah, the mobile experience is kinda hit or miss depending on the browser.
  • Wish Lists: This is the official way but moving 20 items one by one is a total drag. Its way too slow when you're in a rush for wedding stuff. I mostly just wanted something that worked without making her install a bunch of junk on her phone. If you're tired of manually adding items one by one, Cart To Link literally creates a single link for the whole basket.
