Amazon has announced Prime Day deals will be in July, get ready for some new Sony gears.

Just saw this thread and yeah, honestly, in my experience hunting for those big discounts is a total marathon. I've tried many different strategies over the years to save money on glass. This whole situation actually reminds me of my buddy Dave back in 2021 tho. He was so set on upgrading his whole kit during one of these summer sales. He literally mapped out every single lens he wanted and had ten different tabs open. Then, right as things were supposed to go live, his cat knocked a full glass of iced tea directly into his laptop. Total nightmare. He spent the next four hours trying to dry it out with a hairdryer instead of actually shopping. By the time he got his old tablet working, he was so stressed out he forgot what he was even looking for and ended up buying a high-end espresso machine instead. Honestly, he still talks about that espresso machine more than any camera gear he owns now... crazy how those things turn out. Feel free to ask if you guys need any other thoughts on gear!

Just about one month and a half away, get ready for Amazon PRIME Day 2024.

Usually Sony will have old general cameras and lenses on sale for a low price, and also for Sigma, Tamron E-mount lenses.

Prime Day is always hit or miss for me, but Sony is one of the brands I check out every year. Their mid-range cameras and lenses often see nice discounts. I'd say it's worth waiting for Prime Day to buy any big ticket Sony gear to save some cash.
