Best Sony wireless earbuds for running and working out?

Which Sony wireless earbuds are actually good for running and hitting the gym? Honestly I have no idea where to even start with this because looking at the Sony website just makes my head spin with all the weird model names like WF-1000XM5 and Linkbuds S and I dont even know what the difference is supposed to be. Sorry if this is a really basic question but I'm a complete newbie when it comes to tech stuff and it all looks the same to me.

I just signed up for a 5k race here in Phoenix next month and I need something that wont die when I sweat. It is so hot here already so they definitely need to be waterproof or sweatproof or whatever the term is for that. I usually just use the cheap ones that came with my old phone but the cord keeps getting tangled in my arms when I run and it is driving me crazy. I just want to be able to move my arms without ripping my ears off lol.

I've got a budget of about $170 tops. I'm also really worried about them falling out of my ears while I'm moving fast. My ears are pretty small and most things feel like they are gonna pop out. Do Sony ones stay put? I keep seeing ads for the ones with holes in them but that seems weird for music. I just want something that sounds okay and stays in while I'm jogging on the trail...
