Building on the earlier suggestion, i have been shooting Sony for over a decade now and these sales are basically how i survived upgrading my kit without going broke haha. i really love seeing people get into full frame when the prices finally drop because the quality jump is just amazing. been thinking about how much gear i have actually scored during these events over the years...

• Sony Alpha 7 III - still such a tank after all these years. i still use mine as a B-cam and it never lets me down. incredible value if it hits that sub-$1200 range again.
• Sony Alpha 7C II - switched to this for my daily driver recently. the AI autofocus is literal magic compared to the older models. plus its so tiny you actually want to carry it everywhere.
• Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G - i grabbed this last sale and ngl its become my most used lens. having that extra bit of width at 20mm is fantastic for landscapes without needing a lens swap. you really cant go wrong with any of these. just gotta be fast when the deals go live because the good stuff goes quick!!

Based on past Prime Days, there will likely be some solid deals on Sony cameras and lenses this July. In 2023, the Sony A7 IV was discounted 20% and several G Master lenses were 15-25% off. I'd expect similar if not better deals for Prime Day 2024. The best discounts are usually on slightly older models, so look out for price drops on the A7 IV, A7R IV and popular lenses like the 24-70mm GM II and 70-200mm GM II. Keep an eye on the Lightning Deals too, limited quantity items can be discounted even more heavily for a short window of time.
