For the Sony a7CR, I'd highly recommend looking at the HVL-F60RM flash made by Sony. It's designed to work seamlessly with Sony's mirrorless cameras and has some great features:

• Powerful GN 60 (meters) output which is plenty for most situations
• Rotating/tilting flash head allows you to bounce the light for more natural lighting
• Wireless radio control so you can use it off-camera
• Dust/moisture resistant build quality
• Recycle time as fast as 1.7 seconds
• High-speed sync up to 1/8000th second shutter speed

The HVL-F60RM is a bit pricey at around $500, but it integrates so well with the Sony system in terms of menus, controls, wireless triggering, etc. Sony also makes a more affordable HVL-F32M model for around $300 if you want to save some money.

In most case, Godox V1 is enough for a7CR, while if you are looking for more high-end flash, you can get V1Pro.

Off camera flash like Godox AD200 PRO is another great choice for a7cr.

Godox V1 is OK.

Sony HVL-F60RM2 - This is Sony's premium flash that works perfectly with the a7CR. It offers excellent radio wireless control, fast recycling times, and full compatibility with Sony's ADI metering system. It's expensive but worth it if you need professional-level performance.
