I recently got a Sony a7 IV and want to add a teleconverter to extend the reach of some of my lenses for wildlife photography. Does anyone know which Sony lenses are compatible with the 1.4x and 2x teleconverters? Any advice or experience to share would be much appreciated!

Sony makes two teleconverters that are compatible with select Sony FE (full-frame) lenses:
- The Sony FE 1.4x Teleconverter
- The Sony FE 2.0x Teleconverter
Lenses that work with these teleconverters include:
- FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS
- FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS
- FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS
- FE 400mm F2.8 GM OSS
- FE 600mm F4 GM OSS
The teleconverters maintain full autofocus and auto-exposure functionality with these lenses. However, maximum aperture is reduced by 1 stop with the 1.4x and 2 stops with the 2.0x converter.
