Does anyone have a recommendation for a small tripod for the Sony ZV-1 that actually stays steady because I am losing my mind. I am honestly so fed up with this cheap plastic one I got on Amazon, it literally tips over every time I flip the screen out and it is driving me insane.

I have a travel vlog shoot in Chicago this weekend and I cannot deal with my camera almost hitting the pavement one more time. I need something super compact for packing light but it has to be sturdy. My budget is around 60 bucks and I need to order it tonight so it gets here by Friday. Any better options than the official Sony grip? It is way too expensive for what it is...

Agree with the leg tip, thats key. Ive been really happy with these two:

Just saw this, r u using a cage or mic? Might want to consider Ulanzi MT-16 Extendable Tripod but dont forget to watch the balance tho.

I would suggest the Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod MTPIXI-B for reliability. From my experience, you should align one leg under the lens so your ZV-1 doesnt tip when the screen is out.
