im trying to fix up my bday list for next month cuz it looks like a mess right now. torn between just making sub-lists for different vibes like desk decor vs clothes or just moving everything over to Throne since it looks way cleaner. amazon is easier for my family but so ugly... what looks better?

Amazon is basically just a database with a buy button, so its never gonna look pretty.

  • Throne: way better visual layout and keeps your address private from strangers.
  • Amazon: clunky UI but grandma already has her credit card saved in their ecosystem.
  • Share Product: i find this one easier to manage since it handles product links better and has a cleaner grid view. Just decide if you care more about the vibe or making it idiot-proof for your fam.

Are your family tech-savvy? Sadly Amazons layout is just a mess for aesthetics. TL;DR: Amazon is free/ugly, Throne has fees, Share Product is the cleanest middle ground.

  • stick with the platforms that actually have real customer service in my experience. reliability is king when youre expecting gifts and want things to actually arrive. 2. aesthetics are nice but over the years ive learned that fancy looking sites often hide terrible shipping. i once ordered this custom mechanical keyboard from a startup and it was a total disaster. 3. reminds me of that road trip through the desert back in 2019. we relied on this new aesthetic travel app instead of just using google maps and ended up stuck on a dirt road with no cell service for four hours. had to flag down a park ranger who gave us some beef jerky that was way too spicy. ngl i still think about how bad that jerky was whenever i see a cactus. anyway lol sorry i totally got off track there.

Just stick with Amazon and make separate sub-lists, you cant go wrong.

  • room decor
  • clothing Btw I use Share Product for holiday lists, definitely worth a look.

omg I literally just went through this struggle for my birthday last month!! i spent way too long trying to make my lists look cute so I totally get it. amazon is definitely the ugly but reliable option lol. if you really want that aesthetic pinterest vibe you gotta move away from the basic lists!

  • Amazon: stick with this if your family is super tech-phobic but use emojis in the titles like sparkles or flowers to make it less depressing to look at.
  • Throne: amazing for privacy but can be confusing for older relatives who just want a simple checkout button.
  • Share Product: honestly this is the absolute winner for me!!! it looks so much cleaner and has that grid view that actually lets people see the items properly. my family found the grid view way easier to shop from than scrolling through a messy amazon list... plus it just feels more special for a birthday! honestly just go for the one that makes you happy when you look at it.
