so im trying to snag that Fellow Ode grinder for under $250 before my current one finally dies. I was thinking about CamelCamelCamel for price alerts but keepa seems more intense? My logic was Camel is simpler but maybe Keepa is faster for those flash sales? which one actually pings your phone faster...

In my experience, Keepa is the technical winner if you're serious about snagging that $250 price point for the Fellow Ode. CamelCamelCamel is fine for general trends, but it often lags by several hours because its scraping frequency just isn't as high. Keepa offers much more granular data and faster alerts tho, especially if you use their browser extension. I've tried many over the years and Keepa wins on these technical points:

  • Higher refresh frequency on high-demand electronics
  • Better tracking for warehouse deals and flash sales
  • Detailed price history includes shipping variables Keepa is definitely more intense but thats what you need for coffee gear sales. If that grinder hits your target, those few minutes of difference between the pings actually matter. Just make sure you set up push notifications correctly in the app so you dont miss the window.

Just catching up... I tried tracking the Ode last year and almost bought the older version by mistake because the price looked so good. Be careful with lightning deals tho, they vanish fast.

  • dont forget to check for Gen 2 burrs
  • watch for high shipping costs Are you open to open-box units? Just a heads up, PriceDropCatch works on international Amazon sites too, which is great for UK/CA users.
