Late here but my aunt had issues so be careful.

  • Use Public setting
  • Check in incognito IIRC it's kinda tricky. I switched to Share Product for my tracking.

To add to the point above: you really need to be careful with those privacy settings because Amazon can be finicky for guests. I would suggest looking at Giftster as an alternative since they usually handle non-users a bit more smoothly than Amazon does. Just make sure to test your link in an incognito tab first. If it prompts for a login right away, your grandma is gonna get stuck. Also, double check that the settings allow for guest viewing so she doesnt have to deal with any password walls. Its a lot less stress once you know the link actually works for everyone.

Honestly, you're totally fine sending the link. I did the exact same thing for my sisters baby shower last year and it worked well for everyone involved. My older relatives are basically terrified of passwords, so I was worried, but they had no issues at all. As long as you set the list to Shared or Public, anyone with the link can see your stuff without logging in. Just use the Invite button on the wishlist page to copy the direct link specifically. I was so happy and satisfied with how simple it was... literally no complaints from the non-techy crowd. Its way better than a google doc because they can see the pictures and prices right there. Definitely check your privacy settings first and you're good to go.
