okay so im literally scraping the bottom of my tatcha water cream jar right now and its stressing me out way more than it should because i have my cousins wedding in socal coming up like first week of may and i really need to look decent but my bank account is crying lol. i also really need to restock on the drunk elephant d-bronzi drops since everyone and their mother is using them and they always go out of stock as soon as a sale starts. i spent the last hour digging through old threads and some people are saying the spring savings event is definitely starting april 5th for rouge but then i saw a different blog post saying it might not be until like the 12th or 15th for us vib people? im so confused because usually sephora sends out those little postcards or emails by now and i havent seen a single thing in my inbox or my mail and i check my junk folder like every five minutes. maybe i missed it? i really cant afford to pay full price for the stuff i need right now because i already spent way too much on my dress and the flights to california and the hotel is costing a fortune. i have about $300 set aside for this haul but i need that 15 percent off to make it actually cover everything on my list which includes the grande lash serum which is also super expensive. if i wait until mid-april will everything be sold out like it usually is? or is the sale even happening in april this year? i remember one year it was weirdly late and i ended up paying full price for a foundation i hated. i checked a couple of those coupon sites too but they all have different dates listed and it feels like they are just guessing based on last year. does anyone actually have the confirmed dates yet?

ngl, ive been tracking these sale patterns in a spreadsheet for years because im a bit of a data nerd. its super satisfying when the patterns finally lock in and the math actually checks out. based on the confirmed info, youre looking at april 5th for rouge and then the vib tier opens up on april 9th. i was happy to see those dates because ive been analyzing the historical data and it fits the typical window perfectly. last spring, i actually waited until the very last day because i was busy with work and my current setup was running low. i learned the hard way that stock levels for the high-demand items drop significantly after the first weekend. i remember staring at a sold out notification for the specific kit i wanted, and it was a total bummer. now, i make sure my cart is pre-loaded and i hit checkout the second my tier goes live. it works well for me every time and saves so much stress. i checked my logs and usually the postcards land about 7 to 10 days before the rouge start date. since youre vib, your window is definitely april 9th to april 15th. i wouldnt stress too much about the emails yet, they always seem to lag a bit compared to the app notifications. honestly, just setting a calendar alert based on the hard data works way better than waiting for a flyer to show up in the mail...

ngl I was in your shoes last year stressing about my bank account before a big trip. Instead of waiting for the sale, I ended up just grabbing some stuff from The Ordinary. Honestly, im so satisfied with how it turned out. You cant go wrong with their serums and they are cheap enough that you dont even need the 15 percent anyway. Worked well for me!

jumping in here since ive been playing the sephora sale game for over a decade now. in my experience, vib usually starts exactly one week after rouge, so youre definitely looking at april 12th for your 15 percent. the d-bronzi drops are basically the hunger games of skincare tho, so if you see them in stock now, honestly just grab one because they wont last five minutes once the sale opens. i have tried many trackers over the years to manage my hauls and i usually check PriceDropCatch for any sudden price shifts or early leaks. regarding that tatcha cream, look for the refill pods to shave off some cost. technical tip: if the site says its sold out, keep checking the pick up in store option... the inventory is managed differently and sometimes local shops have plenty left when the warehouse is totally empty.
