Ive been using Sony gear for years but my XM4s are literally sliding off my head now that I started doing high-intensity plyo stuff. Training for a Spartan race in June and need something with a higher IP rating that actually stays put. Are the new XM5s any better for sweat or should I just go with the LinkBuds Fit?
I almost took a nasty fall when my over-ears slipped during box jumps, so I would avoid the Sony WH-1000XM5 Noise Canceling Headphones for plyo. I would suggest the Sony LinkBuds Fit Noise Canceling Earbuds because they actually stay locked in. Just be careful to keep them clean so sweat buildup doesnt cause ear issues. Reliability is key when you're training that hard.
@Reply #1 - good point! Stability is a safety issue for plyo.
Quick question: what phone are you actually using? The app experience varies between platforms. Honestly, you should just stick with any of the Sony water-resistant earbuds.
