I'm really stressed because I start this new high-intensity program on Monday and I still haven't picked my gear, I should have done this weeks ago. I'm totally torn between the WH-1000XM5 over-ears and the WF-1000XM5 earbuds and I honestly dont know what to do. My budget is $300 and I'm worried if I get the over-ears they'll get ruined by sweat since I'm a heavy sweater, but then I'm scared the buds will fall out during burpees or when I'm running really fast.
I'm leaning toward the over-ears for the sound but the sweat thing is really making me anxious... what should I do?
I've been very satisfied with the Sony WF-1000XM5 Noise Canceling Earbuds for my daily training. Honestly, the over-ears lack any water resistance and will likely fail due to sweat damage. The earbuds are a more reliable choice for high-intensity movement. I've had no complaints about the fit during sprints or burpees; they stay put perfectly.
Just found this. Whats your ear shape? I'd suggest caution since moisture degrades Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones internals. Try Sony LinkBuds S True Wireless Earbuds for jumping stability.
