I've heard various rumors about its release date, but I'm not sure what to believe. Some sources mentioned it could be unveiled in 2024, but that has passed. Can anyone provide the latest information on when the FX3 Mark II is expected to be released? Also, what price range should we anticipate? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Sony a7V is expected in Autumn 2025. So don't expected FX3 II anytime early, maybe in 2026.

Just get FX3, who knows FX3 Mark II will be released. maybe never for such a camera.

Honestly Virgil is probably spot on with that 2026 guess. Sony doesnt usually rush these cinema bodies when the current one is still selling like crazy. Tbh im perfectly happy with my Sony FX3 Cinema Line Camera right now... it still handles everything I throw at it with zero complaints. Quick tip for anyone waiting tho: think about your media workflow. If the Mark II bumps up the frame rates or bitrates, you might find your old SD cards are basically paperweights. I shifted over to the Sony CFexpress Type A 160GB Memory Card and its been a lifesaver for reliability. Just make sure whatever you buy now is forward-compatible so you arent rebuying everything in eighteen months!

Unfortunately, concrete news on the FX3 Mark II release is scarce. 2024 came and went without an announcement. Keep an eye out for updates, but don\'t hold your breath. Pricing is anyone\'s guess at this point.
