After Sony announced the a1 Mark II, the a1 now get $1000 off at Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama. So why wait for a1 Mark II?
Coming back to check this thread... just curious tho, what are you actually planning to shoot with it? Like is it mostly birds in flight or are you doing more studio and landscape work? Knowing that helps narrow things down. Honestly i have been using my a1 for a couple years now and i am still totally satisfied. It just works well and i have zero complaints about the performance even with the new stuff coming out. At $1000 off its kinda hard to beat.
Thanks, I will also stick the original a1.
