Has anyone noticed a recent price drop on the Sony a7SIII? I'm considering purchasing it but would like to know if it's worth waiting for a better deal or if the current prices are the best they’ll get. Also, are there any rumors about upcoming models that might affect the price further? Any insights would be appreciated!

Saw this earlier but just getting a chance to reply. Honestly, the Sony Alpha a7S III Mirrorless Digital Camera is in a weird spot right now. We have seen it sit at the $3,499 MSRP for ages, but it finally started dipping to $3,198 during seasonal promos. Technically, the hardware is still top-tier with that 12.1MP Exmor R sensor and 15+ stops of dynamic range, but the Sony FX3 Cinema Line Camera and the Sony ZV-E1 have definitely pressured its price point. If you arent in a rush, wait for the next major retail event. Usually, Sony does a $300 instant rebate. Also, definitely look at the Sony CEA-G160T 160GB CFexpress Type A Memory Card prices too, because the media cost is where they really get you. If you can find a body-only deal for under $3k, thats probably the floor for now... doubt it goes much lower until an a7S IV is actually announced.
