So Ive been shooting on the a7S III for ages and just picked up an FX3 for a B-cam, but man, my old RS2 is suddenly acting up with this setup. I thought the weight limit would be fine but as soon as I throw the 24-70 GM II and my Ninja V on there it starts vibrating like crazy. I was thinking maybe the motors are just tired?

My logic was to just grab the RS3 Pro today because I have a big commercial shoot in Chicago this Sunday and I cant afford any jitters. But then I saw people saying the RS4 is better for vertical stuff? Im torn. Budget is like $800 but I need to buy it locally like right now. Is the RS3 Pro still the move or is there something better for the FX3 cage?

Saw this earlier and honestly I am super satisfied with my rig, it works well for my basic needs. Not 100 percent sure but I think there are motor torque calculators online for the FX3 that show if the cage is too heavy for those specific motors. IIRC some sites have helpful compatibility charts for this. TL;DR: Check an online compatibility tool before spending the cash.
