B&H is the place to get it for $948 but honestly that price is a bit of a letdown. I was really hoping for something under $800 to keep it more accessible for everyday shooters. Unfortunately it feels like G lenses are starting to cost as much as GM glass used to. Might be worth holding off a bit if you want to save some cash, tho I know that pre-order itch is hard to ignore.

Regarding what #1 said about B&H, thats definitely the most reliable spot to grab it early. Im quite satisfied with the pricing they settled on for the Sony FE 16mm f/1.8 G. At $948.00, it slots in perfectly between their budget primes and the GM glass.
