I recently purchased the Sony a7 IV and am looking for recommendations on budget-friendly lenses that perform well for video. My budget is under $1000.
I mainly shoot travel vlogs, interviews, and b-roll. I'd like a versatile lens with good autofocus, sharpness, and low-light performance if possible. I'm open to primes or zooms.
I've been considering options like the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 or Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, but wanted to get some other opinions. What are your favorite cost-effective lenses for the a7 IV when it comes to video?

Sony FE 20-70mm f/4 G lens is a great choice for a7IV for Video.

I'd recommend the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS. It's often available as a kit lens, but you can find it used for a good price. While not the fastest lens, it offers a versatile zoom range and has Optical SteadyShot, which is helpful for handheld video work. It's a solid starting point for video on a budget.

Yes, both Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 or Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 are great budget lenses for A7IV for video.

The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 G2 is an excellent budget-friendly option. Great autofocus, sharp image quality, and lightweight design. It's become very popular among video creators for good reason.
