What wireless headset is actually gonna take advantage of the PS5 Pros upgraded hardware for 3D audio? I've been using the Pulse 3D since the original console launch and it served me well but with the Pro arriving next week I want something more premium to match the upgrade. I was looking at the Audeze Maxwell since everyone raves about those planar drivers but I heard some weird things about the Tempest engine compatibility compared to official Sony gear. Im in the UK and got about 300 quid to spend. Is the Pulse Elite actually better because of the Link tech or should I just go for something high end like the SteelSeries Nova Pros? I mostly play single player RPGs like Horizon and I really want that immersive soundstage...

honestly, if you want things to just work without any headache, sticking with the official sony stuff is the way to go. i've been using the Sony Pulse Elite Wireless Headset with Planar Magnetic Drivers for a while now and i'm really satisfied with the performance. it uses those planar magnetic drivers everyone is talking about but it costs significantly less than the high-end competition. you can usually find it for around 120 or 130 quid which is a massive saving compared to your 300 pound budget. the tempest 3d audio engine is designed specifically for these headsets and the integration is seamless. you get the on-screen popups for battery and volume which is super convenient... something you lose with third-party brands. for games like horizon forbidden west, the soundstage feels very open and the positioning is spot on. the Sony PlayStation Link USB Adapter for PS5 and PC that comes with it makes the connection very stable too. i havent had a single dropout since i started using it. spending 300 on the steelseries or audeze feels like overkill to me when the elite delivers 90 percent of that experience for a fraction of the price. save your money for some ps5 pro enhanced games instead. its a reliable bit of kit and i have no complaints at all about the build or the audio quality for the price point. it's definitely the safest bet for the pro launch next week.

> Re: "it was kinda disappointing." I totally agree! To play it safe, definitely get the Sony INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset. Its fantastic for 3D audio and way more comfy than those <a href=" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt= SteelSeries&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries!

Found your thread and gotta say, I spent a lot on the <a href=" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt= SteelSeries+Arctis+Nova+Pro+Wireless+for+PlayStation&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for PlayStation and it was kinda disappointing. Unfortunately, the little ANC nub inside the earcups actually hurt my ears after a while. It is really not as good as I expected for the premium price. Since you want that 3D audio immersion for the Pro, the Audeze Maxwell Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation is the obvious choice but I had issues with the weight. They are super heavy and honestly a bit scary to handle because those planar drivers are fragile if you drop them or even just press them against your head too hard. If you want something safer that still sounds great, maybe look at the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro for PlayStation. It is really straightforward to set up and the noise cancellation is actually better than the <a href=" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt= SteelSeries+imo&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries imo. Just trying to help you avoid the same mistakes I made with comfort!
