I totally agree that OLED is the king for picture quality but since youre looking at that 1000 to 1500 range you can actually save some serious cash and still get a top tier experience - honestly sometimes the extra features on the mid-range sets are more practical for a daily driver. • This is my favorite pick for PS5 owners because it has those Perfect for PS5 features that automatically calibrate the HDR settings and it gets insanely bright so if you have a window in your room you wont be staring at your own reflection all day.
• Samsung S90D OLED
• Well actually this is usually a bit cheaper than the LG equivalent and the colors pop more because of the QD-OLED tech which looks incredible in games like Horizon.
• Hisense U8N
• If you want to stay closer to the 1000 mark this is basically the value king right now and the 144Hz support is nice to have even if the PS5 caps at 120. Just make sure you grab some high quality HDMI 2.1 cables if they arent included because cheap ones will cause black screens when you try to run 120fps mode and trust me that is a total headache to troubleshoot later on.
