Just dropped 700 bucks on the PS5 Pro and realizing it doesnt even come with the disc drive or vertical stand which is such a ripoff. Im trying to get my 4K setup dialed in before my weekend off but everything feels like a hidden cost. Besides the obvious stuff what are the must-have accessories for the PS5 Pro?

- You might want to consider grabbing the Sony PlayStation 5 Disc Drive for Slim and Pro immediately before scalpers hike prices.
- Make sure to skip the official stand; a third-party option like NexiGo PS5 Horizontal Stand is much cheaper and honestly more stable.
- I would suggest adding storage via Samsung 980 PRO 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD with Heatsink to avoid paying for overpriced internal upgrades later... it saves a ton of cash.

Unfortunately, Sony is really leaning into these hidden costs and its super frustrating. To save some cash while getting that 4K setup dialed in:
- Get a Crucial T500 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for storage, its usually way cheaper than the big brands.
- For 4K, Zeskit Maya 8K 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 Cable is a solid budget pick that wont fail you. Sucks that we have to hunt for deals just to make a pro console feel complete...

Building on the earlier suggestion, you gotta look at the audio and controller situation cuz thats where the real Pro experience is at! Honestly, the standard controller feels kinda basic once youve tried the high-end stuff. I am totally obsessed with my current setup right now.
- Sony PlayStation DualSense Edge Wireless Controller: This thing is amazing for shooters and action games. You get the back buttons which are a total game changer for jumping and sliding without moving your thumbs off the sticks. Plus, if the sticks start drifting, you just swap out the modules for 20 bucks instead of buying a whole new pad. Battery life is pretty bad tho, ngl.
- Sony PlayStation Pulse Elite Wireless Headset: If you want that crisp 3D audio, these planar magnetic drivers are fantastic! The soundstage is way wider than the older Pulse 3D. It really brings those 4K visuals to life with actual depth.

Definitely grab a Sony PlayStation DualSense Charging Station too. It sounds like a luxury but it keeps your desk clean and you wont ever pick up a dead controller again! Its honestly one of the most useful things I own for the console.
