Everyone is focusing on that $1000 price point, and yeah, it is pretty steep for an entry-level vlogging cam. While the specs look better on paper, the lack of a mechanical shutter and the known overheating risks in these thin Sony frames makes me nervous about long-term reliability. Tbh the rolling shutter on this sensor is still gonna be an issue for fast pans too. If you need something that wont flake out during a long recording, the Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera handles thermals way better for similar money. If you are already set on Sony tho, maybe just hunt for a deal on the original Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera and pair it with the Sony E 10-20mm f/4 PZ G Lens... you will get more bang for your buck than overpaying for the mark II right now. Just dont see the value in this upgrade yet.

I just hope the price will not over $1000, based on latest rumors it will expensive than $1000. 😥 

A bit expensive for me. Seems a big upgrade over original zv-e10.
