I just got the new Sony ZV-E10 mirrorless camera for vlogging and photography. It's a great little camera, but the built-in flash leaves a lot to be desired. What are the best hot shoe mounted flashes to get for the ZV-E10? I'm looking for something relatively compact and affordable, but with enough power to properly light indoor scenes. Any recommendations?

Try the Godox V1, it is a powerful flash for Sony ZV-E10. I used this flash for several months, never has any issue.

@rf444 I've been using the Godox V1 with my Sony ZV-E10 and have been really impressed with the results. The round head design of the V1 provides beautiful, natural-looking light that is perfect for portraits and event photography. The V1 has plenty of power to overpower the sun outdoors and the built-in modeling lamp is great for seeing how the light will fall on your subject.

^ This. Also, ngl I have been dealing with this exact same issue since I got my Sony ZV-E10 and it is super frustrating. I have been obsessing over the weight distribution specs because I am really cautious about putting too much torque on the Multi Interface shoe... it just feels so fragile on such a small frame. I have been searching for a solution for months now and still have nothing that feels right. Every time I think I found something, the pin alignment looks sketchy or the center of gravity is just way off. Still stuck in the same boat as you, just constantly worried I am gonna snap the mount if I pick the wrong one.

I've been using the Godox TT685II-S with my ZV-E10 and it's been fantastic. It's got TTL compatibility with Sony, so it integrates seamlessly with the camera's settings. The power output is more than adequate for most situations, and it recycles quickly.

For enhancing the lighting on the Sony ZV-E10, several compact and affordable hot shoe-mounted flashes stand out. The Godox TT350S is a great choice, offering a balance of power and portability. Similarly, the Neewer NW320 and the Sony HVL-F32M provide reliable performance without breaking the bank. These flashes are well-suited for indoor scenes, ensuring well-lit photos and videos. You can find these flashes on Godox TT350S, Neewer NW320, and Sony HVL-F32M.
