Hi everyone, I'm looking to get into creating content for TikTok and want to get a good Sony camera that will allow me to shoot high-quality, creative videos. From what I've researched, it seems like Sony makes some of the best cameras for video, especially in low light.
I'm trying to decide between models like:
- Sony ZV-E10
- Sony a6700
- Sony ZV-1 II
- Sony ZV-E1
- Sony a7C II
- Sony a7 IV
Does anyone have experience using any of these cameras for TikTok specifically? I'm looking for something:
- Compact and lightweight so it's easy to shoot handheld
- Has a flip-out screen so I can see myself when filming
- Good autofocus that can keep me in focus as I move around
- Solid in low light for indoor shooting
- Can shoot in portrait orientation for TikTok's vertical format
I'm leaning towards the ZV-E10 or a6700 but would love to hear people's thoughts who have actually used these cameras for short-form video content. What Sony camera would you recommend for an aspiring TikToker on a budget of around $1000? Thanks in advance!

For best video quality, you can get Sony ZV-E1. For a cheaper price, get the Sony ZV-E10.

The Sony ZV series are best for vlogging, for high-end model, you can get ZV-E1, for mid-range model you can wait ZV-E10 II, for entry-level model you can get ZV-1 II.

For TikTok, the Sony ZV-E10 II is a popular choice. It\'s compact, has a flip screen, great autofocus, and decent low-light performance, fitting your budget. Some users even find older models like the NEX-6 excellent and affordable. While the a6700 is powerful, the ZV-E10 II\'s vertical UI is optimized for TikTok.

I think a7C II is also a good compact camera for shooting videos.
