Which browser extension tracks prices on Amazon.ca reliably?

I need to track a bunch of wedding gifts on Amazon.ca ASAP since prices are jumping around daily and the wedding is in three weeks. Budget is tight and I need to buy like 4 items.

Im torn between using Keepa and CamelCamelCamel. Keepa looks super detailed but kinda overwhelming, while CamelCamelCamel seems simpler but Ive heard it misses price drops on the Canadian site.

Which one is better for Amazon.ca right now?

  • Must support instant email alerts
  • Needs to show price history for at least 1 year
  • Needs to actually work on the .ca domain reliably

Should I just stick with Keepa or is CamelCamelCamel good enough for Canada?

Building on the earlier suggestion, ugh, those Amazon.ca price swings are the absolute worst! It is honestly so draining watching a gift double in price overnight.

  • Keepa: Way better for those weird 5-minute price drops.
  • CamelCamelCamel: Interface is cleaner but data feels lagged lately. I am super satisfied with Keepa tho. It is definitely more reliable for tight budgets when you cant afford to miss a deal.

Saw this thread and thought id chime in. Honestly, the technical side of these things matters more than the UI when you are on a tight timeline. If youre worried about reliability on the .ca domain, you should look at how these tools actually pull their data.

  • Data lag: some tools only refresh every few hours, so you might miss a lightning deal.
  • Privacy: be careful with browser permissions since some extensions read more than they should.
  • Resource usage: if your laptop is older, some of these can really slow down your browser. Just go with any reputable Amazon price tracker that has a solid history on the web store. Keepa is the industry standard for a reason, so you cant really go wrong there if you ignore the messy charts. It handles the Canadian site way better than most of the smaller ones. Just set the alerts and let it do its thing.

Keepa is the absolute winner for Canada! Seriously, Ive used it for years and it never lets me down. Camel is okay but it misses way too many price drops on the .ca site.

  • Keepa sends alerts instantly.
  • Price history goes back years.
  • It integrates right onto the page. I swear by this Amazon price tracker for every big event. You got this, the savings are gonna be amazing!
