Ive been staring at my cart for like three days straight trying to decide between the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and the La Mer Crème de la Mer. My skin is a disaster but $200+ for one bottle is so steep even for luxury stuff. I have a wedding coming up in August so I need to start a new routine soon but I’m really trying to hold out for a discount. Does anyone know when the next big Sephora sale is happening? I feel like there’s usually one around this time but I can’t remember if it’s April or May... I’d hate to buy it now and then see a 20% off coupon next week.

In my experience, the Spring Savings Event usually starts in mid-April. Over the years, Sephora has been super consistent with this schedule for their tiered member discounts. Since your wedding is in August, waiting a few weeks to snag that 20% off is basically the smartest move. Quick tip: definitely prioritize the SK-II over the La Mer for actual skin texture results before the big day... its gonna work wonders.

@Reply #1 - good point! I tracked the data and it starts mid-April. SK-II's Pitera worked well for my texture.

  • Mid-April launch
  • 90% ferment concentration Very satisfied with it.

Like someone mentioned, mid-April is the historical benchmark for the spring event. I've been tracking their price cycles for about six years now. Honestly, when you're looking at the molecular weight of the ingredients in these luxury lines, you really want that discount to offset the markup. I went through a massive phase testing different fermented products from SK-II and found the consistency is what really matters over the long term. I dont even bother checking the Sephora app manually anymore, I just use PriceDropCatch to look at the historical data before I pull the trigger on anything over a hundred bucks. If youre prepping for a wedding, just stick with any of the essentials from SK-II and youll be fine. The fermentation process they use is much more consistent than the heavy mineral oil bases in some other luxury brands. Just make sure you start at least 8 weeks out because your skin turnover rate needs time to adjust to the new pH levels. Its better to wait for the sale next month than to rush into a $200 purchase today.
