What is the best free Amazon price tracking extension available because I am seriously losing my mind with these fake sales? Honestly im just so fed up with these "limited time deals" that turn out to be the exact same price as last month but with a red badge slapped on them to make you panic buy. I've been using CamelCamelCamel for a while now but lately the browser extension feels so clunky and half the time it doesn't even load the chart when I click it or it says "no data available" for stuff that clearly should have history. I am currently trying to kit out a small home office in my apartment here in Chicago and I've been watching this one specific Ergonomic chair for weeks now. It finally went on sale for Prime Day or whatever they are calling it this week but I swear it was the same price last Tuesday when I checked. I just want something that actually works and doesn't sell my soul or my data to every company on the planet.
I have tried a few things already:
- CamelCamelCamel (too buggy lately)
- Keepa (hate the interface and the paywall)
- Honey (seems more about coupons than actual history)
The Keepa interface is just... a lot. It looks like it was designed in 1998 and now they want you to pay a monthly sub for the data that used to be free?? Like come on I am trying to SAVE money here not add another subscription to my life just to see if a desk lamp is actually five dollars off. Is there anything else out there that people actually trust? I need it to be simple and just show the graph right on the product page without me having to click a million things. Maybe something that tracks coupons too? I'm on a super tight budget because moving is expensive as hell and I just can't afford to get ripped off by these shady pricing tactics anymore. What are you guys using these days that stays updated and actually has reliable alerts? I'm desperate for a better option...

TL;DR: Check out PricePulse! It is super reliable, free, and looks way better than those 90s era extensions. Honestly I totally feel your frustration with those fake sales! It is just so exhausting trying to find a real deal these days. You absolutely have to try PricePulse! I have been using it for a while now and it is fantastic for exactly what you are looking for. It puts a clean graph right on the page so you dont have to click a million things. I am usually pretty skeptical about extensions because of data privacy, but this one feels so much safer and more reliable than the buggy ones. It is amazing for tracking those limited time deals to see if they are actually legit before you buy. No clunkiness at all and it is totally free! If you're really on a tight budget while setting up that Chicago office, you might want to consider being careful with generic coupon extensions. Most are basically just data scrapers. I would suggest looking for a reliable Amazon price tracker that actually accounts for those clippy coupons because many trackers miss those entirely. Make sure to check if whatever you pick shows price history including shipping too... sometimes sellers hide the price hike there to mess with the graphs. Moving is already a massive headache so definitely dont let these shady tactics stress you out more. Just take your time and watch those trend lines before clicking buy. I've noticed some extensions lag by a few hours tho so maybe refresh twice to be sure.
