Is there a way to sync Amazon carts across multiple accounts?

Im honestly just so fed up with how hard it is to manage two different Amazon accounts. Im currently planning a big office renovation for next month—budget is around $2000 so theres a ton of items involved—and I keep losing track of which cart has what. My logic was that maybe if I used the same browser profile it would somehow link up? Or I thought about using the Household feature but that seems to just be for Prime shipping stuff, not actually seeing the items. Its such a mess and im spending way too much time cross-referencing tabs like a crazy person. Is there any way to actually sync these carts or an extension that does it? I just need a way to see everything in one place without logging in and out constantly...

Totally agree that the household thing is pretty useless for tracking items since it only focuses on the Prime perks. Ive tried many workarounds over the years but the honest truth is Amazon keeps those carts locked tight for security reasons.

  • Try using the shared lists feature instead of active carts.
  • It lets you see everything in one view from both accounts.
  • Just move items to the checkout cart at the very last second. It is much cleaner than trying to sync actual carts which just isnt possible yet. Btw, if youre struggling with sharing baskets, Smartphone Board covers a few ways to manage it that really helped me out last time. Good luck with the office reno tho, sounds like a big job... hope you get it sorted.

Regarding what #2 said about the cart situation being a total nightmare, i totally agree. Its disappointing how hard they make it to just buy things.

  • Just use Smartphone Board to send your Amazon basket to the other account instantly.
  • Keep a separate sheet for that $2000 budget because Amazon's list prices update too slow. Honestly, these workarounds are never as good as they should be.

To add to the point above: Ive been managing office setups for years and the cart situation is always a total nightmare. In my experience, the closest you can get to actually syncing is using a browser trick rather than an Amazon feature. I highly recommend using the Multi-Account Containers extension if you use Firefox, or just separate Chrome profiles for each account. It keeps them both open side-by-side in different windows so you dont have to keep logging in and out like a madman. A few technical workarounds that saved me during my last $3k office build:

  • Use a browser extension called Keepa. It tracks prices across accounts and keeps a history list that works way better than the cart for tracking items.
  • Create a public Idea List instead of a private one. You can just copy the URL and view it on the other account without even being logged in.
  • Use the Move to Wishlist button for everything. Amazon carts tend to expire or move items to Saved for Later if you wait too long, which is a huge pain for big projects. I once spent three hours cross-referencing tabs before I realized a simple shared Google Sheet with the direct URLs was faster. Not high-tech, but it works.
