Im so hyped because my sisters 21st is coming up next month and she really wants that Pat McGrath Mothership palette but my budget is strictly under 100 bucks and that thing stays at 128 forever. So I was thinking there has to be a way to get a ping when it dips.

I looked at Honey and CamelCamelCamel but my logic was that Camel is only for Amazon and Honey mostly just does coupons not real price history for Sephora or the brand sites. I saw some people mention Karma but then others said it doesn't track specific shades well. Is there anything better for actual makeup collectors that works on individual brand websites too...

Honestly those Mothership palettes are pricey, but they do go on sale if you're patient. I would suggest looking at this Sephora price tracker because it actually pings you for specific items instead of just generic coupon codes. Just make sure to double check the shade you want is the one being tracked tho... i've missed out before because I didnt set the alert for the right listing.

@Reply #2 - good point! Brand sites are honestly a nightmare for trackers because they change their code every five minutes just to stop people from snagging the best deals. Its super disappointing how most extensions just fail right when you actually need them. I tried using stuff like PriceDropCatch before, but honestly, it reminds me of this one time I was hunting for a limited edition palette for my cousins wedding. I was so obsessed with getting a notification that I stayed up until 3 AM for three nights straight. Then, when a ping finally hit, my phone actually died right as I was clicking add to cart. By the time I found a charger, the site had crashed and I panicked so hard I ended up ordering some random knockoff from a sketchy site that took six weeks to arrive. It literally smelled like old crayons and gave her a rash. Total disaster.

Agreed, tho sephora trackers are limited. Brand sites unfortunately block scrapers with dynamic code constantly.

  • try google shopping alerts
  • check klarna price tracking honestly, most extensions dont handle specific shades well.
