Honestly ngl I am in the exact same boat right now and it is driving me absolutely insane. Been trying to find a way to do this for like two weeks because my brother is moving and I just wanted to send a few specific things to our parents so they could help out with the new place. Usually I am pretty satisfied with how I navigate these sites and I typically have no complaints about the tech side of things, but this one has me totally stumped. It is wild that there isnt just a simple link you can generate to show someone exactly what is sitting in your cart without all the extra registry fluff. Registry stuff feels way too formal for what we are doing too. Every time I try to set something up, the site starts throwing all these recommendations at me that we definitely dont have space for. Just wanting the specific air fryer and the specific towels I picked, nothing else... why is that so hard? Looking at those same Chrome extensions gave me the creeps, honestly.
