Does anyone know the best way to get instant notifications for price drops on Amazon.de because I’m literally stressing out watching this one laptop price go up and down every single day. I’ve been looking at this Lenovo Legion that keeps hovering around 1350 but I really need it to hit 1200 or less to fit my strict budget before I move to Berlin for uni next month.
I’m torn between using Keepa or CamelCamelCamel and honestly I’m just confused which one is faster or more reliable for the German site specifically. Keepa seems way more detailed with all those graphs but it looks kinda overwhelming to set up correctly and I’m scared I’ll miss the notification while I’m in class or sleeping. On the other hand CamelCamelCamel looks way simpler to use but I’ve heard it can be slow to update and by the time I see the email the deal might be gone already... the stock on these laptops is always so low lately.
Is there another browser extension or maybe a Telegram bot that works better for Germany? I really cant afford to overspend right now with all the moving costs and everything else so I need something that actually pings my phone immediately. Which one should I go with if I need it to be super accurate for the next 3 weeks?

Keepa is definitely the way to go if you want accuracy. I have been super happy with how it handles the German site for years now and honestly, it has never failed me when I am hunting for tech deals. Camel is fine for a rough idea but its update frequency can be a bit hit or miss for high-demand items like gaming laptops. If that Lenovo drops to 1200, you might only have a tiny window before it sells out or the price bounces back up. Keepa looks messy at first but just focus on the tracking tab. You can set it to alert you via email, Telegram, or even their own app notifications. Tbh the Telegram integration is the secret sauce here. You basically get a message the second their crawler detects the change. It tracks New, Used, and even Warehouse Deals which is huge for saving extra cash. No complaints from my side on the setup either... once you link your account to the mobile app it pings your phone instantly. Since you are moving to Berlin, you might also want to check out Idealo.de. It is the gold standard for price comparison in Germany and they have a really solid app with price alerts too. Sometimes a local shop like Notebooksbilliger will beat Amazon on price anyway. Good luck with the move and the studies, Berlin is a blast!

Man, I totally get the stress of watching prices bounce around like crazy! I've been there so many times trying to snag gear before a big move. For Amazon.de specifically, you absolutely have to go with Keepa. Seriously, ignore the learning curve because it is an absolute game changer once you get it set up! CamelCamelCamel is alright for basics but it is definitely slower and misses those blink-and-you-miss-it drops that happen at 3 AM. Keepa is amazing because it tracks everything including warehouse deals and lightning sales which is where you will likely find that 1200 euro price point for a Legion. The best part is the Telegram bot integration. I set mine up to ping me on Telegram and it is basically instant. Just hit the track product tab on the graph and set your target price. Dont worry about the charts looking messy, just focus on the tracking tab! You can even set it to alert you if stock gets low so you dont miss out while youre in class... gaming laptops sell out so fast these days. Good luck with the move to Berlin, its a fantastic city!
