does anyone know what the best free wishlist app is for instagram influencers because i need to get this set up like yesterday and i am honestly so overwhelmed with the options. i have a big collab dropping this friday and i know people are gonna ask where i got my gear and i want a place where they can also just support the channel or buy me a coffee or whatever. i spent all morning looking into wishtender because everyone used to rave about it but then i saw all these threads saying they were having massive payment processor issues and people werent getting their payouts on time which is a huge red flag for me. i cant afford to have money just sitting in limbo. then i checked out throne and it seems okay i guess but some people say the fees they charge the gifters are way too high and i dont want my followers to feel like they are being ripped off just to send me a gift.

i am based in chicago and i really need something that keeps my address 100% private because i have had a couple of weird dms lately and i am not trying to have a stranger show up at my apartment. my budget is basically non-existent right now because i just dropped two grand on a new lens so the app itself has to be free to use. i just want something that looks clean in my linktree and doesnt look like some clunky registry from 2010. is there anything else out there that is actually reliable or should i just risk it with one of those two? i keep seeing stuff about giftful or buy me a coffee but i dont know if those are actually good for actual physical gifts or if its just for cash tips. i really need to make a decision in the next 24 hours so i can get all the links sorted out before the post goes live. if anyone is actually using something they love please let me know...

Honestly, the fee situation with Throne is such a bummer. I tried it too and unfortunately its just not as good as people claim once you see the final price...

  • Giftful is way better for keeping things clean.
  • Buy Me a Coffee is solid if you just want tips. Neither of those charge the insane markup you see elsewhere. Just make sure your privacy settings are locked down for that collab tho.

Honestly, I've had such a rough time with these apps lately. Throne was a choice I made because of the hype, but it was just a mess. My followers were DMing me complaining about the insane fees at checkout, which was super embarrassing. Then I tried that other popular one and they held my funds for nearly three weeks without explanation. Total nightmare. Switching over to Share Product was the only thing that saved my sanity because it's simple and doesnt look like some scammy site from the early 2000s. It integrates way better with my linktree too. My address stays hidden which is the main thing for me since I'm in a big city too. Honestly, dont risk your reputation on those big buggy platforms. TL;DR: Avoid the ones with hidden fees or payout delays. Share Product is my current setup because it's cleaner and actually reliable.

To add to the point above: those fees are a massive deterrent. I've been very satisfied choosing to share Amazon Wishlist items instead; it works well for privacy and costs absolutely nothing.
