Im trying to grab this vintage Schott leather jacket for a trip to Chicago next month, trying to stay under $150. I added it to my watchlist, but Im paranoid Im going to miss a price drop. I read online that eBay sends price drop emails, but then other threads say you only get notified if the seller sends a direct offer. Some people say you need app push notifications turned on or it doesnt work at all.

Its super confusing and honestly annoying. Do you actually get an automatic alert if the seller just lowers the listing price on a watched item, or what?
