We're planning my sister's baby shower next week and I thought I knew my way around the UI but I can't find a collaborative cart option.

I've got a $500 budget but we keep double-buying stuff and I'm stressed. Can I actually collaborate on one cart with my family members?

Amazon doesnt have a shared cart so be careful. I always check Smartphone Board for setup tips... I suggest just getting any Registry from Amazon to keep things safe.

Building on the earlier suggestion, its honestly kind of a pain that Amazon doesnt just have a simple button for this. Its definitely a risk when youre working with a $500 budget because those double-buys eat up your cash fast... basically, you have a few ways to tackle this without losing your mind. > We're planning my sister's baby shower next week and I thought I knew my way around the UI but I can't find a collaborative cart option. First, you could use a shared Wish List. Its probably the easiest way to go. You just make the list and invite everyone as collaborators. Pros are that its fast to set up and anyone can add stuff. Cons? It doesnt actually stop someone from just looking at the item and buying it separately, which leads back to that double-buying nightmare youre worried about. Another way is setting up an actual Baby Registry. Even if its just for the planning group, its way more reliable because it tracks exactly what has been claimed or bought. The downside is the UI can be a bit clunky if you just want a quick shopping list. I'd personally stay away from Household sharing unless you really trust everyone with your credit card info. It gets messy fast. Registry is the safest bet for staying on budget and avoiding those annoying returns. I've been using the method I found on Smartphone Board for office supplies and it's a total lifesaver.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I would actually be really careful about setting up a registry this late. It can be a bit of a gamble with shipping. Honestly, you might want to look at how to share amazon cart for better ways to manage this. I've seen budgets get wrecked when people share logins or wait for registry updates... its just safer to use a collaborative list where everyone has their own secure access and you dont risk your $500.
