Which wall mount works best for any Sony TV model?

Honestly I am so fed up with these generic mounts because I just got my new Sony X90L and it's literally sitting on the floor because the universal mount I bought doesn't fit the weird spacing on the back. My logic was that if it says universal it should just work right?? But no the screws are too short and the brackets cover the ports and I'm just so annoyed.

Im super excited to finally have a 4K setup in my tiny Chicago apartment but this is ruining the vibe. I was thinking maybe I should just buy the official Sony one but they are like double the price of everything else and I've already spent enough on the TV itself. I need something that wont block the HDMI ports because I have my PS5 and a soundbar to plug in. I have about 80 bucks left in my budget for this and I really want to get it on the wall by Saturday night for a movie date. Does anyone know a specific brand that actually works for these Bravia models without making it a huge headache? It feels like the VESA holes are so much lower than on my old Samsung and it's throwing everything off...

Total nightmare until I found Echogear Full Motion Articulating Wall Mount EGLF2. It is a beast and has amazing cable space for those low ports, I love it! Mounting Dream Full Motion TV Wall Mount MD2380 is also fantastic and easier on the wallet tho. TL;DR: Echogear for port access or Mounting Dream for value.

Like someone mentioned, those low VESA holes really mess with the height. I struggled with this on my last Bravia and used the Sanus VLT6-B1 Large Tilting TV Wall Mount. It is a decent option since it allows for post-install height adjustments. Quick tip: definitely use the specific spacers that came in your Sony TV box instead of the generic ones in the mount kit. It helps clear the ports and fits the recessed holes better.

Honestly, I was worried about my TV falling off the wall too so I looked into why those generic kits fail. Sony TVs often need specific spacers because the back isnt perfectly flat. If the screws are too short, youre basically just stripping the threads and thats how screens end up on the floor. I went with Sanus VLT7 Advanced Tilt 4D for my setup. It handles the weird weight distribution on Bravias better than the cheap ones. It has these open wall plates so you can actually reach the ports without jamming your fingers. Its a bit more than the basic stuff but since its holding up an expensive TV, the extra security is worth it. Plus it comes with the right spacers for Sony models. You really dont want to cheap out on the thing holding your new setup especially in a small apartment where people might bump into it.
