honestly so fed up with these universal mounts that just dont fit my 65 inch Bravia properly. my logic was that any vesa mount would work but the back of this Sony is so weirdly shaped.

im stuck with a half-installed tv right now. just want something that fits for under $60...

Just saw this while scrolling and had to jump in! I went through this exact same nightmare last year with my 65 inch Bravia. I was sweating and cursing because those universal kits never have the right spacers for that weird Sony protrusion at the bottom. I finally grabbed the ECHOGEAR Tilting TV Wall Mount EGLT2 and it was amazing! It comes with this literal tackle box of hardware which is fantastic because Sony back panels are so quirky tho. Technically, you need those specific long spacers to make the bracket sit level against the back. If you dont use them, you'll bend the frame or it just wont sit right... I love how smooth the tilt is! Honestly, seeing it finally up on the wall made all that frustration worth it. You definitely gotta check this one out, it makes the whole process so much easier!

I've had great success with the Mounting Dream MD2268-XL Fixed TV Wall Mount on my Bravia setup. It handles the weight easily and stays well under your $60 budget.

  • includes a huge variety of spacers for that Sony curve
  • heavy duty steel construction
  • simple pull-string release Everything fits flush and I'm very satisfied with the stability. Just use the longest spacers included.

Same setup here, love it
