Honestly i'm just about at my wits end with ebay lately because every time a good deal for a Roland Juno-60 pops up it's gone within literally five minutes and i'm left staring at the "this item is no longer available" screen. it's so incredibly draining to keep refreshing the page manually every hour of the day and night just hoping to catch a seller who doesn't know what they have or just wants a quick sale. i've tried a couple of those basic browser extensions that are supposed to notify you but they either lag by twenty minutes or they only track auction prices which is useless for what i need. i'm looking for a solid Buy It Now tracker specifically. like something that pings my phone or my desktop the second a listing hits the site under a certain price point.

my budget for the synth is around 2500 but these flippers are snagging everything the second it lists for under 3k. i even tried setting up those native ebay "saved searches" but the emails they send are so slow its laughable. by the time the email hits my inbox the item has been sold for three hours already. it feels like i am fighting against bots or something and honestly maybe i am. i'm willing to pay a monthly sub for a tool if it actually works and has low latency because i really need to get this studio setup finished by next month for a project i'm working on here in Chicago and this is the last piece of gear i need to find. it's getting to the point where i'm checking my phone during dinner and it's making me a bit obsessive which i hate. i just need something reliable that actually monitors the live feed of new listings without me having to click refresh until my finger falls off. has anyone actually found a way to win at this? what is the best tool for ebay buy it now price tracking that actually works in real time and isn't just a scam? i'm ready to dump these janky extensions and move to something professional if it exists...

Man, I totally feel your pain with those Juno prices. Went through the exact same thing trying to hunt down rare gear last year and honestly, most of those free browser extensions are just total trash. Unfortunately, I had some real issues with the supposedly instant notifications from the bigger sites. They were never as good as expected and I missed out on a couple of great deals because the alert came through way too late. It is so frustrating when you are trying to be careful but the tech just lets you down constantly... almost feels like a waste of time sometimes. You definitely need something that hits the API directly instead of just scraping the page or waiting for an email. I have been using PriceDropCatch for a few months now to keep an eye on some vintage collectibles I am after.

Get a custom API scraper for sub-second polling! It is amazing!

  • BayAlerts
  • Python scripts The data throughput is incredible, youll definitely crush those flippers and get that Juno!
