honestly fed up with this old Vizio bar Ive been using, it keeps dropping the connection to my Sony Bravia and its driving me crazy. but Im super hyped because I finally saved up about 600 bucks to get a proper setup!
so I was thinking... maybe a Sony brand bar would actually talk to the TV better? like that HT-A3000 or something? my logic was that it would just work without me fighting the remote every five minutes but then I saw some reviews saying Sonos is better and now Im totally stuck. i need this sorted by Friday for our movie marathon in my apartment... any ideas what actually works best with the Bravia software?
TL;DR: Samsung HW-Q800C 5.1.2ch Soundbar beats it on raw specs, but Sony HT-G700 3.1ch Soundbar wins for Bravia reliability. In my experience, third-party bars often have tiny eARC handshake delays that drive me nuts. I tried a high-end setup last month and the volume bar lag was unbearable. If you want that flawless sync and onscreen menu integration, the G700 is basically bulletproof and leaves cash for snacks.
