honestly fed up with this old Vizio bar Ive been using, it keeps dropping the connection to my Sony Bravia and its driving me crazy. but Im super hyped because I finally saved up about 600 bucks to get a proper setup!
so I was thinking... maybe a Sony brand bar would actually talk to the TV better? like that HT-A3000 or something? my logic was that it would just work without me fighting the remote every five minutes but then I saw some reviews saying Sonos is better and now Im totally stuck. i need this sorted by Friday for our movie marathon in my apartment... any ideas what actually works best with the Bravia software?

- Sony HT-A3000 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar for perfect sync!
- Sonos Beam Gen 2 Compact Smart Soundbar for amazing sound. Personally love my Sony, it's fantastic!

TL;DR: Samsung HW-Q800C 5.1.2ch Soundbar beats it on raw specs, but Sony HT-G700 3.1ch Soundbar wins for Bravia reliability. In my experience, third-party bars often have tiny eARC handshake delays that drive me nuts. I tried a high-end setup last month and the volume bar lag was unbearable. If you want that flawless sync and onscreen menu integration, the G700 is basically bulletproof and leaves cash for snacks.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I once spent hours on eARC failures before swapping to:
- Sony HT-S2000 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar Sticking to the same brand prevents those frustrating mid-movie cutouts.

- yeah staying in the ecosystem is the safe play. in my experience mixing brands always leads to those annoying eARC handshake issues where things just dont sync up right. i once spent a whole weekend troubleshooting a bar that wouldnt wake up with the tv.
- does your bravia model have the s-center speaker port?
- how big is the room youre working with?
