Which Sony model is actually gonna stay on my head at the gym? Im torn between the XM5s and the LinkBuds S and I gotta buy them by Friday before my training starts. Im worried the XM5s will get all sweaty and gross but the earbuds might fall out while Im running. Budget is $300 max.

Ive seen way too many people ruin their expensive gear because they thought they could just wipe away the sweat. Salt is corrosive, period. Plus, they carry an IPX4 rating, which is the bare minimum you should accept for gym use. The fit is much more secure than the LinkBuds S when you are actually moving. I wore my Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones for a heavy session once and the heat buildup was gnarly. They lack an IP rating, so sweat eventually degrades the internal drivers... dont do it. Swapping to the Sony LinkBuds S True Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds IPX4 was the best move tho.
