Coming back to this, I agree. Might want to consider these:

> my sisters wedding is in five days and i just got a sony a7rv but i realize i cant hold it steady at all Over the years ive found that weddings are basically a stress test for gear. For that budget, grab the DJI RS 3 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer. Its a tank. Pair it with a FeelWorld F6 Plus 5.5 Inch 4K HDMI Monitor so you can actually see the frame. Honestly, just practice balancing it before the wedding... trust me on that one.

omg i have the exact same issue right now and it is driving me crazy!! i just got the a7r v and love the sensor but i seriously cant hold the thing steady for more than a minute without it looking shaky. ive been dealing with this for like three weeks now and honestly still havent found a setup that feels 100% reliable for a long shoot... it is so frustrating because i need something that wont just crap out under the specific payload and torque requirements of this body! i am still totally lost too.

I used a Zhiyun once for a family reunion and it worked so well with the heavy setup.

  • Zhiyun gimbals
  • Feelworld monitors Both brands are super reliable and wont break your bank tho, honestly.
