honestly im so over these cheap amazon docks that stop working after two weeks or wont even hold the controllers right. i have a mix of ps4 and ps5 controllers all over the living room and need a reliable solution by friday for a tournament. what are the top recommended charging stations for dualsense and dualshock?

Totally agree those generic docks can be sketch, honestly. Sticking to licensed gear is usually safer for the batteries.
- Sony DualSense Charging Station PS5
- Pros: Solid click-in, no port wear. Cons: Only for PS5.
- PowerA DualShock 4 Charging Station
- Pros: Reliable pins, licensed. Cons: Takes up extra outlet space. Safety circuits are way better on these than the knockoffs. Let me know if you need any more info on the specs!

I'm still kinda new to this but I'm super paranoid about battery fires. I once bought a generic one and it got so hot I thought it'd explode... you might want to consider checking sites like RTINGS or the official PlayStation forums for safety warnings first.
- Are you trying to charge both types on one single stand?
- Does it need to be portable for the tournament?
