My desk is a complete disaster zone right now with cables everywhere. I just got a PS5 but still use my PS4 for older games in my bedroom, so I have a mix of controllers just lying around. I checked out the official Sony docks but they are so expensive for what they are and always seem to be out of stock near me. Then I looked at brands like NexiGo on Amazon, but I keep seeing people complain about them overheating or not fitting right if you have any grips on the sticks.
I've only got about $30 to spend and really want something that wont fry my batteries. Is there actually a gold standard station that works for both PS4 and PS5 controllers simultaneously? Or am I stuck buying two separate ones...
Like someone mentioned, hybrids are tough. Im satisfied with PowerA DualSense Charging Station for PS5 over NexiGo PS5 Charging Dock for safety. Check r/PS5 for teardowns, theyre super helpful!
Stumbled upon this today. Totally agree that separate units are usually safer, but Ive been really happy with my current setup.
Hybrid docks are tricky. Id suggest the OIVO PS5 PS4 Controller Charging Station for a budget option.
