My living room is a mess with cables because I still use my PS4 Pro plus the new PS5. Im really paranoid about the battery life on these dualsense controllers cause they die so fast and I dont want to keep wearing out the USB ports.
I saw the official Sony dock is the best but its always out of stock near me in Chicago. I looked at NexiGo on Amazon but some reviews say they get really hot and Im scared of ruining the batteries. Is there a reliable dock that handles both PS4 and PS5 controllers safely or should I just buy two separate ones?
> Is there a reliable dock that handles both PS4 and PS5 controllers safely? Like someone mentioned, separate is better since the ports are totally different. I'm very satisfied with the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for PS5 White Magnetic for my DualSense; its fast and looks premium. For my older Pro setup, I use the PowerA DualShock 4 Charging Station for PS4 Licensed. No complaints here, they both stop charging when full so no overheating worries.
^ This. Also, check PowerA Twin Charging Dock for DualSense. In my experience, using those bottom EXT pins saves your USB ports from wearing out, and its usually half the price.
> Is there a reliable dock that handles both? I'd get two. The Sony DualSense Charging Station CFI-ZDS1 is safest. For your older ones, the HyperX ChargePlay Duo for PS4 is a very solid, reliable choice that wont overheat.
