I'm looking for something that can fully utilize the console's capabilities, especially with features like HDMI 2.1 and high refresh rates. I want to know about the best options available, their pros and cons, and what specifications I should prioritize for an optimal gaming experience. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, if picture quality is your priority (think deep blacks & HDR), OLED or QD-OLED panels are where it’s at. The Gigabyte FO32U2P or MSI MAG 321UPX both deliver excellent contrast and smooth motion — and while the PS5 Pro caps at 120Hz, these screens look gorgeous in actual gameplay.
Just be sure to get a panel with true HDMI 2.1 to avoid bandwidth issues.

Top Tier Recommendations:

  • ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM: This is pretty much the pinnacle right now. It's a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED with a 240Hz refresh rate, so it will handle anything the PS5 Pro throws at it.
  • Alienware AW3225QF: Another fantastic QD-OLED option that delivers stunning visuals and performance.
  • Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD): Samsung's latest Odyssey OLED is a beast, offering incredible 4K visuals and all the features needed for the PS5 Pro.

Seriously, don't skimp. The PS5 Pro is an investment in top-tier gaming, and your monitor should be too.

  • Normandwkt is spot on about those OLEDs, but honestly, I've had issues with the text clarity on some of those QD-OLED subpixel layouts when using them for anything other than gaming. It's kinda disappointing for a high-end setup if you ever use the screen for work too. If you aren't ready to drop a fortune on OLED, I've been digging into the LG 32GR93U-B 32-inch 4K UHD 144Hz lately. Unfortunately, LG's HDR brightness on their non-OLED panels isn't as good as I'd hoped, but the color accuracy out of the box is actually better than the Samsung G7 models I've tested. It handles the full 48Gbps bandwidth via HDMI 2.1 which is what you really want for the PS5 Pro's VRR and 4K/120Hz output without chroma subsampling. Another solid pick is the BenQ MOBIUZ EX3210U 32-inch 4K 144Hz. I was a bit let down by the local dimming zones—it's basically pointless for true HDR—but the actual motion handling is super clean. Just keep an eye on the specs... some brands claim HDMI 2.1 but only use limited 24Gbps ports, which is just annoying tbh.
