I tried a few generic ones from Amazon but most of them covered the side port or made it a total pain to plug in a TRS cable. I ended up picking up the TP Original Sony RX100 VII Leather Half Case since it actually has the proper side clearance for the jack. Technically, it uses a bolt-on design that lets you swap the Sony NP-BX1 Lithium-Ion Battery without taking the whole skin off. The tripod mount is offset tho, which might be a minor annoyance if youre obsessive about centering, but it works fine for travel setups. The leather is decent quality for the price, usually around 50 bucks. It doesnt block the mic port at all, which was the main dealbreaker for me. Its a solid choice for your Tokyo trip.
Love these two!
