I just got the RX100 VII for my trip to Italy next month but finding a decent leather case is a total nightmare. I looked at the official Sony LCJ-RXK one but it looks so plasticky in reviews and i dont want something that feels cheap after spending a grand on the camera. Then I saw the Gariz half cases which look nice but they dont protect the top or the lens so my logic was what even is the point if i drop it? I need something that covers the whole thing but still lets me get to the battery door easily. My budget is around $100 and everything on Amazon looks like junk... what are you guys using?

Honestly, i went through like three different cases before I found one that didnt feel like cheap cardboard. Over the years ive realized that the $20 options really do fall apart after one heavy trip... kind of a waste. If you want something that covers everything and actually looks premium, you should look at the Kaza Deluxe Leather Full Case for Sony RX100 VII.
- it covers the top and lens fully
- has a dedicated battery and SD card access door
- the leather is actual cowhide, not that fake plastic stuff In my experience, you want something that doesnt just look good but handles the constant bumping around while traveling. This one fits the bill perfectly. It might be right at the top of your budget, but it beats buying a cheap one and hating it within a week. It fits like a glove which is basically all you need when youre walking around Italy all day... just my two cents.
