I've been eagerly waiting for the successor to the popular Sony ZV-E10 vlogging camera. The original model has been a favorite among content creators, and I'm excited to see what improvements Sony will bring to the table with the ZV-E10 II.
Does anyone have any insider information or rumors about when we can expect the Sony ZV-E10 II to be released? I'm hoping for some significant upgrades in terms of autofocus, battery life, and maybe even a flip-out screen.
I am in the exact same boat regarding the sensor readout speeds. I recently started using the Sony ZV-E10 II and while I am genuinely satisfied with the improved color science and the updated menu system, the rolling shutter remains a significant hurdle for my workflow. It is quite a challenge to deal with that jello effect when I am trying to get smooth handheld footage. I would advise extreme caution when using this body for high-action scenarios or fast-paced vlogging. You really need to be methodical with your movement... if you move too quickly, the vertical lines will lean quite heavily and ruin the shot. Honestly though, I have no complaints about the autofocus or the battery life as both have performed reliably for me so far. Just dont go into this thinking the rolling shutter issue is a thing of the past because it definitely isnt. Keep your pans slow or you are gonna be disappointed with the distortion.
According to latest rumors, ZV-E10II will be announced in July, and release date in August. - (From SAR)
@samantha Rumors suggest that Sony's ZV-E10 II, the anticipated successor to the popular ZV-E10, could be released later this year. This new model is expected to bring significant upgrades, including enhanced autofocus, improved battery life, and potentially a more versatile flip-out screen. While specifics are still under wraps, the buzz indicates that Sony aims to refine and expand upon the features that made the original a favorite among vloggers and YouTubers. Expected soon!
> Does anyone have any insider information or rumors about when we can expect the Sony ZV-E10 II to be released? So it finally dropped recently but honestly it is not as good as expected for the price hike. I have been using the original for ages and was really hoping they would fix the rolling shutter issues, but unfortunately it is still pretty noticeable when you are panning fast. They did put the 26MP sensor in the Sony ZV-E10 II Mirrorless Camera which gives you 10-bit 4:2:2 video, so the colors are technically much better than the old 8-bit files. But losing the mechanical shutter entirely kinda blows if you wanted to take photos of anything moving. I have had issues with electronic shutters and flickering lights before, so thats a major letdown for a hybrid user. tbh if you really want those specs but in a better body, just grab the Sony Alpha 6700. It has the same sensor but actually includes the AI processing chip and a viewfinder which makes a huge difference in bright sunlight. Or even the Fujifilm X-S20 if you want better stabilization. The new battery (NP-FZ100) on the Sony is a nice upgrade tho, finally dont have to carry five spares...

May is soon to end, we didn't see the official announcement, even any teasers.
