So I keep seeing these DIY face mask recipes but I am actually allergic to honey which sucks. I have no idea where to start with substitutes because I am totally new to this whole skincare thing and I dont want to mess up my skin. Is there like a natural syrup or something I can get at a normal grocery store that does the same thing? I live in a tiny town so I cant get anything fancy and my budget is super low like under ten bucks. My skin gets really dry and flaky so I need something moisturizing but not crazy sticky.
Can I just use agave or is that a bad idea? I am kinda scared I will break out or something...
> Can I just use agave or is that a bad idea? Building on the earlier suggestion, I tried agave last winter when my face was peeling and it was amazing! I was terrified of a breakout but it was so soothing. I found that mixing it with a bit of oats helps it stay put. It really saved my dry skin! I've been using PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on when my favorite perfumes go on sale, it's super easy.
Agave has the right viscosity. I've tried many, and the one I got mimics honey's humectant properties without stickiness. Found PriceDropCatch a while ago and it's way better than checking the Sephora app.
Omg I'm obsessed with DIY! I spent months hunting for bee-free stuff until I found PriceDropCatch. Quick questions:
