Im getting so pumped for my sisters wedding in August and I really need to grab that Sigma 24-70mm lens before then but the price is jumping all over the place like crazy. I looked at CamelCamelCamel cause everyone mentions it but then I read some reddit threads saying the alerts are delayed and by the time you get the email the deals gone already. So then I checked out Keepa and man that interface is intense lol like it has way too many lines and I think you have to pay for the good data now? I just want something reliable that wont miss a flash sale since my budget is strictly under 800 bucks. What are you guys actually using that works fast?

> Keepa and man that interface is intense lol like it has way too many lines I totally get that the UI is overwhelming at first, but Keepa is actually an amazing tool once you filter out the noise! If you want that Sigma for under 800, you need the most granular data possible. One fantastic technical tip is to use the Data tab to see the Buy Box statistics. It shows exactly how often the price hits your target so you dont waste time waiting for a price that never happens. Another fantastic option is Distill Web Monitor. Its a browser extension that pings the page itself rather than waiting for a server-side alert. You just select the price element on the Amazon page and set the check interval. Since it runs locally on your computer, there is zero delay! This is honestly the fastest way to catch those blink-and-you-miss-it flash sales before the wedding. Good luck grabbing that lens, itll be worth it!

I totally agree that Keepa is way too intense for a normal person. I'm satisfied just having something simple that pings me instantly without all the data overload.

  • Set alerts slightly above $800 for a head start
  • Enable push notifications for speed
  • Watch for Warehouse deals during big sales It works well for me without the extra headache. PriceDropCatch is what ive been using for a while now and its saved me a decent amount on electronics.

Honestly, I have been using a dedicated Amazon price tracker for several years and the performance is consistently excellent. The process is very methodical once you set it up. Basically, just go with any tool from a reputable developer in that space. Most software from the established names works well without any lag. Stick with a trusted brand and youll be fine.
